Graduation Camp 1516

I'm getting excited preparing for the camp. This morning, I went back to school and labelled the badges for our Wild Geese Plus. I realized how much I miss each of you as I wrote your names.
Let's enjoy the third camp together!

Today is a normal school day but I had a briefing for the Cambridge program after school! I will go to Cambridge in summer holiday with some of the classmates and friends like Aurora, Chloe, Torres, Ryan, Ivan, Belle and Jenny and more! So excited!😙 We are going to study and learn a lot of things! What an excited program, this is going to make me crazy!^^

After the briefing was finished, I went back home and did some research on the collage, Fitzwilliam Collage ( BTW, my father is call William too!☺️) and found out that the collage is beautiful.. and huge, the hall is really cool...

Then I play some games on my phone... The MINION RUSH!!!😗 It's real Fun, trust me😛!

After that, I ate dinner, take bath.... and at last, me and my brother watched youtube videos...then, I painted my canvas!

Every day is normal, but YOU can make it fun!

Countdown Day 6 – 8th June, 2016: (By Ivan)

    Today was the last day of the exam! Everyone was thrilled about it, after ONE revision lesson, we had to do THREE exams continuously; it was totally exhausted! But, I think I will get a great score from the exam. (I HOPE) After I went home,(Which means one minute before) I got a present unexpectedly, it was a box of Lego STAR WARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was the first day for examination. I was pretty nervous. The first SA we took is the Chinese Reading. I think it is not too hard but not too easy. I think I managed to answer half of the questions correctly. The second SA was Chinese Writing. I was lucky that the topic for the writing fits with that I prepared. When I was working with my paper, my hands were really tired but I can’t stop because if I stop I will not have enough time to write. Today nothing special happened.

Full of confidence, I went to school because I had to do Chinese debate competition and English speaking FA.

When I came to school, I saw Mr. Ng (PE teacher) was taking some prizes, I didn't know what they were. The bell rang, Mr. Ng said that today had some prize to give: The champion of running is 6A......The champion of sit-up is 6C Alvin Lai! I was stunned, everyone clapped. In Chinese lesson, our group was the first and I was the first to present in my group. Luckily, I did well. At English class, we did speaking FA and we wanted Ivan to go as the second person to speak, but he didn't want to do. Then Ms.Fiona told us to use DoJo to pick randomly. Ivan breathed a big mouth.''Tik tik Tak tak......'' It picked Ivan!

      今天, 我看見我的好朋友(謝樂妍)沒有上課, 我和石采頤便十分擔心因為我們以為今天要在圖書館講故事, 而我們還末準備, 我一直擔心, 直至她回來了, 我鬆了一口氣, 可是我們此終還末準備, 因此小息時我問她是否今天講故事她跟我是明天, 但我記得是今天, 於是我們便問石采頤是今天還是明天, 她跟我說是5月20日, 然後謝樂妍說她是否看錯了20和26, 終於宣報說是2B班的其中幾位同學, 我們大聲的叫了一下, 忽然Miss Fiona便問我們為什麼這麼開心, 可是我們還是哈哈大笑 !        終於在晚上我和謝樂妍打算由21:00-21:30, 可是..................比我們如期中遲很多, 我們由21:00開始, 最終我們做到22:30, 但是我們卻感到有成功感 !

Countdown Day 19 - 19th May, 2016: LAC DAY and a lesson in supermarket~~ (By Samuel)

Today we had a very interesting assembly about 'LOVE AND CARING DAY' and our 'Parents', Ms Fiona and Mr. Leung led this assembly. After we played some games and shortly talked about the aim of Love and Caring Day, a drama started. I thought it will be very similar as last year and very boring so I didn't concentrate. But at the middle part of the assembly, something started to be go through my ear. We always pretend very smart, brave and polite in front of elders we didn't meet before but we always show or rudeness and impoliteness to grandparents as we meet them frequently. I reflected deeply about my bad attitude and I promised that I will be very polite to them. Some of the grandparents even take care of children if their parents need to work although they are very weak, and may feel very tired. If their grace is water, all of us gonna sink. We should be very thankful for them.

Students, teachers and parents! Watch out the camera! One, two, three, CHEEZE!

(SATURDAY)

I learnt a great lesson in the supermarket. On Saturday afternoon, I went to supermarket when my dad brought my brother to the clinic 'cause I was bored . When I was 'playing', suddenly, a staff recommended me to drink a vitamin drink. I drank a lot so I think I should buy one for the prize. But unfortunately, I didn't had any money so I pretended to buy a drink and put it on another corner. When I was walking through the exit, she suddenly appeared in front of me and asked me where is the vitamin drink. Oops! I think she noticed that I didn't bought the vitamin drink probably. She first checked my bag, pockets to check if I stole in and then, she followed me to the corner. She warned me if I can't find it out, she will call the police and I will get big trouble. Luckily, I found it and she warned me again to be careful after days. I learnt a very great lesson and changed my habit:

Always be honest and put the things where it should be.

Countdown Day 20 - 19th May, 2016: Da testy day! (by Lucas)

   In the morning, the first thing I woke up to is the thought of how to use present perfect tense in a sentence. Since we were going to have grammar(my weak spot) and writing FA today, I was especially worried about it. Our first class class was English, we had our grammar FA in that class and the lucky thing was that the test wasn't as hard as I predicted. It wasn't long until recess came, I had to chase a lot of p.1 students since they wanted to know if  they were faster then me, and considering my size, I'm pretty proud that I couldn't by over-taken by anyone of them.

   Recess ended and we had double Chinese lessons, for me it's either drowsy time or doodling time, bad luck has struck us all, we had a surprise CHINESE READING FA!!!(NOOOO!). We watched some clips about debates after that and that was it.

   Fast-forward to module, we had our writing FA, and we had to write Anne Frank's "final diary entry" when we had to write a diary entry about what if Anne frank didn't die in the concentration camp and instead survived to the end of WW2. We had our class performance meeting afterwards and, boy oh boy, it was noisier then a rock and roll concert, scrap that, it was noisier then a heavy metal concert.

   One thing I learnt today was that P.1's are hard to chase.

Countdown Day 21 - 18th May, 2016: An exciting day(By Doremi)

      今天的英文科有來自不同學校的老師來看課，我們在課堂上使用了不同的軟件，包括: Nearpod, Ibooks(我們老師親自製作的) 和 Kahoot! 我們做了一些關於食物的小比賽。我對於食物一竅不通，只知道哪些好吃，那些不好吃，最後當然輸了比賽。到了中文課，老師突然跟我們說要進行閱讀評估，嚇得我手汗都出來了。幸好，老師說這並不太難，我的心才平靜下來。雖然有一些答案不太肯定，但是我能肯定能及格。

      最精彩的還是辦主任課，我們有一個特訂的節目: 6C VIP。這是一個事件讓我們能夠自己主持二十分鐘的班主任課，我們要和搭檔像一個遊戲，在二十分鐘裏玩完。而今天就有我們的班主任 Miss Fiona 來主持。我們玩了一個遊戲叫九不搭八。A同學要說出一個詞語，而B同學就要說出一個與A同學說出的詞毫無關係的詞語。我跟郭伊翹比賽，結果到了最後郭伊翹說出鳥，而我則對了人，其實他們彼此卻有關連: 他們都是生物，結果我輸了。放學後我跟同學就在討論，結果想了一個詞語是無敵的，那就是地球。

      放學後，我就上了ELA(課外活動)，在上完課後，我們的老師 Teacher Silas 給了我們一些小吃，那就是有一丁點辣的爆谷，我覺得那是挺好吃的。

      今天對我來說還是美好的一天，希望畢業前的每一天都是快樂的。

Countdown Day 22 - 17th May, 2016: A Hilarious Day (By Ryan)

Well, nothing much happened today except for that almost EVERYTHING was amusing. In the English Lesson,(Which was really fun) we played Kahoot with iPads, and then TK said that his iPad hated him because he ALWAYS got disconnected, he had to connect it again and by the time he connected, the game was over. I tried to redo the answer in time, but I always got the answer inaccurate. (I was just learning it from TK) Only at this time I found out that Lokin had her hair cut to a mushroom-like hair, which was legitimately adorable and funny (Uhhh... almost everyone with their hair cut like this looks adorable and funny...)

In maths class, Mr Sung made a chart with us about speed, some group said that a ferry's speed would be a 100 kilometres per hour. Whatttt? That speed would only be able to be reached by a speedboat or something. 

Lets speed up the time till lunch, normally the lunch was horrifyingly disgusting (Just about...24 days and I will be bringing lunch to school!), I used Ivan's Super Spicy Thingy (Not sponsoring) to cover up the taste of that meal, and I accidentally said that I would bring a dish of soy sauce next time. All of the group laughed at me.(HAHAHA) In the second recess, I had to leave in the classroom to dance for the assembly on Friday, me and Ivan had to dance some moves that the other classmates snickered at me so hard that I hid behind a desk.

Homeroom time, we had to write about our questions of the college we will be going next year, Hao Ran wrote咩料, and Miss Fiona said it out loud. Later we found out that Hao Ran wanted to write 咩科. I laughed so hard that I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

Countdown Day 23 - 16th May, 2016: A REALLY Normal Day (By Aurora)

    Seriously, nothing special at school happened. At homeroom, we got lectured by Miss Fiona on something that happened in Math Class. (Not clear what happened there) I would've preferred reading, (DUH) but I guess that was important too. Oh well. We had double Chinese lessons as Math class switched to Module. Yay. I was being sarcastic. We had a listening FA. Some say that it was pretty easy, but I'm pretty sure I failed.
    Fast-forward to lunchtime. Lecture about what happened in Math Class again, (Why? Seriously...) and Miss Fiona pulled Harrison and me aside to 'understand things that happened on Friday better'. Well, it was an accident, so that talk came to an end pretty quickly, considering Miss Fiona's record. (No offences there) Anyways, we had Math module, which actually sounds weird, and had an FA. I got one question wrong!! I accidentally divided the correct answer by 2, with no apparent reason! (Why am I so stupid?!) At homeroom, (Again) Samuel and I were in charge of organizing it, and not to spill the beans, I won't say anything, but it was messy. VERY messy. Well at least we had some progress.
    So that's it. A day of my life in school. Nothing much, and very boring. But I do hope you've enjoyed reading it. (I didn't write it for nothing, after all) (By the way, why do I keep using brackets?) Well, that's it! Have a nice day!

Countdown Day 24 - 13th May, 2016: An unfortunate day (By Adrian)

Today, I went to school as usual, catching the MTR to Chai Wan Station. On the way I spoke with my friends, everything looked great, nothing bad happened YET.

I went to school almost late. When I reached the classroom, I felt my tummy painful, so I quickly hand it my homework and went to the washroom... 

In PE lesson, I found that I forgot to bring my water bottle to school! The worst thing is that we had 9-min running, which I hate the most. I returned to the classroom thirsty and exhausted.

After a few lessons until Chinese lesson, we checked our homework. Just then I realized I hadn't done my homework!!! Of course, I would need to go to 205:(

Some classmates and I had football for ELA. I almost fainted when I as I was very thirsty. Finally the school bell rang, I sprinted towards the 7-11 and bought lemon tea.

Later, I arrived British Council and had fun. But when the time's 18:00, I couldn't find my landyard(which is a pass to go home)! I needed to call my mum and get her permission to leave.

I really hate this day! Hope it won't happen again!

Countdown Day 25 - 12th May, 2016: A Meaningful Day

 It's a more meaningful today! .During our lunch time, we could only get a slice of bread and it called "Light Food" .People lives in Hong Kong is very spoiled since we can eat whatever we want and cause a lot of food waste. However, in some poor countries like Africa, people even dont have enough food to eat. So I learnt a great lesson that we should save food.

 

Countdown Day 26 - 11th May, 2016: TV SHOWS XD (By Tin Tin)

           Today is Wednesday a day that I'm fine with the most( next to Friday NOTHING CAN BEAT IT!!!!). My sister just glanced at the iPad and asked me" What about THURSDAYS?"Well everybody can agree to this double Chinese is the worse it's boring, long and stupid. My mom actually complained about this since my sister was in primary 1, she was fine with double Chinese but the problem was that if there were double Chinese what about double English? Me and my sister tries to cage her rage against this but it sometimes not enough.

Back to the main topic the reason I like Wednesdays is because my favorite tv show comes out on gowatchseries.biz. The main character is about a man that gets hit by lightning and a big explosion known as the particle accelerator hit him, then after a 9 month long coma, he wakes up to find out he has powers the gives him super speed, he then finds out the explosion effected others too and also gave them powers. After he defeats his first enemy, someone with the power to control weather he officially becomes THE FLASH

But on pearl I think it's only on like episode 17,18 or something, there is a lot of stuff to explain so I could only explain season one episode one of the show in this blog, if I tried to sum it all up it would take Chloe or Ryan five-ish minutes to finish reading. Countdown Day 27 - 10th May, 2016: "I No stupid" movie watching!!! (By Emily)

               In the morning, it was yellow rain at first, but changed to red rain JUST after everyone got to school. School was supposed to be cancelled, but unfortunately everyone went to school besides Helen. After the principal announced that all after school ELA's were cancelled, everyone cheered and jumped like crazy!!!
               Today in math lesson, we had a FA on equations. Even though it only took 12 minutes to finish, it made me very nervous and I kept hoping the test would end soon. It wasn't really hard, but some questions were tricky.
                In English lesson, we used Kahoot to revise reported speech. Because the WiFi was really strong, we got to use individual i pads ( yay! )
                In lunch time, we got to finish watching the " I No Stupid" movie. It was about three boys, one rich, stupid and always listens to what his parents say, one good at drawing, bad at academic studies and always gets caned by his parents, and one good at everything. Their parents hate each other, but at the end, they eventually became friends and one even donated their bone marrow!
               

                 In homeroom, we talked about grad dinner performance, but it  didn't go well. ( i wont write about the details cause Miss Fiona will see)

Chinese double lesson, honestly, DRAWING! Made some pixelart with Michelle, turns out she’s really good at those.

Math, got annoyed by Arnold… Ugh. Mr. Sung gave us some questions, and no one would even help me for a bit. Got pretty mad, and finally couldn’t even solve the questions… hm. Whatever.


English module, it’s Vivek Mahbubani’s visit again!
He came the second time, and I even got his signature!
Btw, he’s the announcer in the fighting show, G-1 fight club, and he used to have cancer.

At home, played Monsterstrike.
Dad is at a banquet, so I wanted to run by myself but eventually gave up the idea. It’s not that good after all to be alone.

Shower… Monsterstrike again…
Then, dad was back.

Countdown Day 28 - 9th May, 2016: Playing Football (by Lok In Cheah)

       

不是針對某位同學, 只是個人意見和感受

今天的班主任課時, Miss Fiona 帶我們全班到七樓的籃球場裡踢足球.首先, Torres 說要測試我們的實力, 所以他說他會輪流傳傳球給每一個人,然後叫我們傳回給他. 我記得Hannah傳回給他的時候, 他只說了一句, 李衍悠是其中一個傳球傳的最差的人.第一, 我認為他不應這樣說,因為Hannah從來都沒有學過踢足球, 所以她可能踢得不太好, 但如果我們那麼直接, 會傷害別人的心.2. 他不應只批評別人, 我認為他作為隊長, 應該給一些建議隊員, 令他們可以做得更好. 

       

       然後, Torres幫我們(需要與隔離班比賽的人)分成三隊, 但我認為他幫我們分隊時他的指示很不清晰, 因為他從來沒有說過幾多個人一隊, 惹來很多人的不滿.一開始我們每組要派一個代表出來決定那兩隊踢先, Torres那隊要等候一下才能踢....

       比賽開始了, 何柏霖好像特意把球踢出界, 弄得我們要出去檢好幾次.Torres好像不耐煩了, 決定由他自己檢出界的球, 然後踢去其中一個地方, 看那一隊可以檢到.(其實我覺得這樣不太公平)兩分鐘後, Genevieve向著龍門踢了一腳, 但被葉智健接到了, Torres卻說 Genevieve 差一點就進了球, 當我們勝(1.沒進就是沒進2.我們認為他是想自己那隊可以踢而已).放學後, 很多人也表示對Torres的不滿....

       在這件事裡, 我學會了無論你在一方面很好, 你也不可以要求你的組員立刻配合你, 你要聽別人的意見, 這樣的組長才會得人尊重.

What a nightmare! Vaccine injection TODAY! It's awful~~~~!!!! It hurts a lot but I didn't cry, I improved! (I cried last time when I was a P.1 student) I knew it this morning, somebody told me. 

The worst thing is --- I am the first one in the line to accept the VACCINE INJECTION. I got interviewed by other classmates. They asked me,"Is it painful?" or "How's it going?" in Cantonese. Ugh! The former P.6 students complained about it last year, they said your arm will be painful for DAYS. Help!!! Do you guys agree that it's very painful?

Countdown Day 33 - 28th April, 2016

"Yeah! No module!" This is what I usually hear on the eve of Annual Concert as we have afternoon off for the kids, but not for me as it will be rehearsal for Annual Concert in the afternoon. My day will end at 6:00 pm.  However, I love to stretch students' potential and therefore enjoy training emcees every year for Annual Concert (and sometimes Annual Performance). 

I'm sure I'll collapse after I get home. Tomorrow will be a long day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Good show, everyone!

25th April, 2016 was the birthday of our primary school countdown blog.  We are a group of primary 6 students studying in HKUGA Primary School and we will be leaving for Secondary 1 in a few months' time. We hope to remember our happy days here and thus this class blog was created.
